Menno Koolhaas, born October 31, 1995, is a leading Dutch triathlete known for his impressive rise in long-distance triathlon. At 1.93 meters and 80 kilograms, Menno combines remarkable strength and endurance, consistently delivering powerful performances on the global stage.

In 2023, Menno captured the spotlight by setting a new course record at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, becoming the European Long Distance Champion with a phenomenal time of 7:36:36. He built on that success in 2024 with top-five finishes at two of the world's most prestigious events—the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii and the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt—solidifying his reputation as one of triathlon's elite. 

Menno’s triathlon journey began at age nine, and ever since, he's shown relentless dedication, discipline, and a fierce commitment to excellence. His personal best of 7:35:51 at the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt is a testament to his determination and drive.
